Description
Finally... A finished model. I've worked on this for my brother as his christmas present for about 14 days. He wanted a sculpture of himself in an Iron Man suit... Ahem. The pose is based off an Adi Granov concept piece which he particularly liked.
Built in ZBrush and rendered with mental ray, then composited together in photoshop. The skin on the head was a challenge and the armour material was a pain, both required endless tweaking, as did the lights. Modelling the head was quite difficult as getting a likeness for a person you know well always is. But I'm getting better with zbrush so future work will hopefully be easier!
The only easy thing was the background!
Well I'm pleased with the way it turned out, comments and crits welcome.

LOL really good likeness. I actually recognized him straight away. The suit looks awesome of course.
